The Horse Country Resort is located right on the coast of Arborea, in the Gulf of Oristano, nestled among fragrant, lush gardens and far from the hustle and bustle of typical, crowded beach resorts.

Facilities: Set in an extraordinary natural setting, the resort offers an exciting and authentic vacation enriched by horseback riding activities—a feature that makes the experience unique, open to everyone, and guaranteed to provide unforgettable days. The complex features a “Western”-style area with a saloon, an equestrian arena hosting thrilling horse shows, Ponylandia for young guests, and a spacious spa for those seeking to focus on their well-being.

Rooms: 315 rooms, all equipped with private bathrooms, hairdryers, telephones, TVs, air conditioning, in-room safes or safes at the front desk, and minibars. They are divided into Standard rooms, without a balcony or patio, and Superior rooms, with a balcony or patio; exclusive Suites/Junior Suites—two spacious, elegantly furnished connecting rooms with park views. Cottages: 58 (Studio apartments sleeping 2–3 and two-room apartments sleeping 3–4) tastefully furnished in Old English or Western style, nestled in the centuries-old pine forest surrounding the Resort, all with private entrances, furnished outdoor seating areas, private bathrooms, hairdryers, telephones, TVs, air conditioning, and minibars.

Dining: a wide selection of restaurants offering a rich variety of regional, national, and international dishes. “Fasolare,” the Resort’s main restaurant, serves national and international cuisine with buffet service. “Il Paguro,” a beachside barbecue restaurant, offers traditional Sardinian cuisine featuring grilled meat and fish. On alternate days, enjoy evenings with a Mediterranean flair accompanied by traditional songs and lively dancing! (Open during the summer. Small surcharge for dinner). “Don Custer,” a wood-fired pizzeria on a terrace overlooking the pool, is open during the summer. “Saloon and Restaurant,” with its Western-themed decor and Tex-Mex cuisine, offers fun evenings where you can experience the life of a real cowboy, complete with country dancing and themed games (small surcharge for dinner). Note: half-board: begins with dinner, ends with breakfast; full board: begins with dinner, ends with lunch. Water and house wine included with meals. Full board must be confirmed at the time of booking. Meals purchased on-site will be charged according to the current restaurant price list. Seasonal opening of restaurants is at the discretion of management.

Bars: “Il Cedro” American Bar, in the small square, featuring piano bar evenings; “Tropicana” Pool Bar by the pool, open during the warmer months, offering afternoon entertainment and snack service. “Mirto” Beach Bar on the beach, open during the summer months. Saloon-Pub in the center of the Western Village with Texan-Mexican theme nights, for a true cowboy experience.

Relaxation, Sports, and Fun: two swimming pools for adults and children, tennis court, soccer, table tennis, archery, Mini Club (ages 5–11) and Junior Club (ages 12–17). Bike Rental. For a fee: pedal boats, canoes, sea and land excursions, sailing, snorkeling, and scuba diving. Poseidonya SPA Wellness Center featuring: indoor thalassotherapy pools, Turkish bath, sauna, relaxation area, and elegant treatment rooms with state-of-the-art massage techniques and equipment, as well as experiential evenings combining relaxation under the stars with tastings of traditional Sardinian wines. Horseback Riding Activities: visit to the stables, first-time riding experience, rides through the pine forest and along the beach. For experienced riders: English and Western riding with fully equipped riding arenas and trail rides. All activities will be conducted under the supervision of qualified instructors and guides. Beach: part of the Arborea marina. A beach of light-colored, medium-grained sand. Equipped with lounge chairs, sunbeds, and umbrellas; accessible via a pleasant stroll through the resort’s gardens and pine forest.
